Principal Process Engineer (IRC207260)
We are looking to recruit 3 Principal Process Engineers with differing specialisations to join a team of experienced Engineers. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the successful applicants will each add a unique value into this very well-established team.
The Key responsibilities are:
  • Undertake design of oil and gas process, utilities and offsite systems and equipment for onshore and offshore, greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Perform and check process calculations and documents ensuring the technical quality of a ‘safe’ plant design.

Principal Engineer 1 (Process Simulation)
Essential knowledge and experience:
  • Proven capability to innovate and apply new solutions to existing problems.
  • Good experience of process simulation using HYSYS or Unisim tools. 
Principal Engineer 2 (Flare and Blowdown Systems)
Essential knowledge and experience:
  • High level knowledge of and experience of flare and blowdown systems, including process simulation skills related to these areas, Flarenet and Flaresim.
Principal Engineer 3 (Utility Systems)
Essential knowledge and experience:
  • High level knowledge of and experience of design utility systems, including steam generation and condensate recovery are essential.
 Other knowledge and experience:
  • Experience in start-up and shutdown of process and utility systems is appreciated.
  • Flexible and personable individual to work effectively within team environments on projects.
  • Ability to lead a small team, dealing with and providing solutions to interdisciplinary technical issues.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Able to coach less experienced team members.
  • Working knowledge of Italian language is useful.
  • Good experience within the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Master Degree / Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Member of a relevant Institution, Preferred Chartered Engineer or equivalent
